The Perfect Balance of Effort and Ease
Movement creates energy.
Stillness allows us to receive it.
Vinyasa & Vibrations is a thoughtfully curated experience that guides you from dynamic movement into deep restoration, offering space to reconnect with your body, quiet your mind, and reset your nervous system.
We'll begin by building warmth through an intentional Vinyasa practice, transition into restorative shapes that invite the body to soften, and conclude with an immersive live sound journey designed to support profound relaxation.
It's more than a yoga class.
It's an opportunity to fully exhale.
MEET YOUR GUIDES
Nick Harris
Nick's teaching blends intelligent sequencing, strength-building movement, and mindful breath to create practices that are both empowering and accessible. His classes invite students to move with curiosity, build resilience, and reconnect with what their bodies are capable of.
Taylor Papp & Jack Davis
Taylor and Jack are the co-founders of Portal Sound Studio, opening in Fall 2026 as Portland's first dedicated home for Crystal Tones® Alchemy Singing Bowls.
As certified sound practitioners, they guide participants into deep rest through immersive sound experiences featuring premium alchemy bowls, ethereal vocals, meditation, and healing instruments.
Taylor's background as a classically trained musician and Jack's work as a mindfulness meditation teacher create a sound journey that is both artfully crafted and deeply grounding.
Move. Breathe. Explore.
Nick Harris will lead a 75-minute Vinyasa practice that weaves together:
Strength-building movement
Functional mobility
Traditional yoga postures
Breath-centered flow
Mindful transitions
The room will begin at approximately 80°F, creating gentle warmth to help the body move freely and comfortably.
As the practice unfolds, you'll build heat, explore your capacity, and reconnect with the rhythm of your breath.
Toward the end of class, the pace naturally slows as Nick guides you into Yin-inspired and restorative postures, allowing the nervous system to begin shifting from effort into ease.
Rest in Resonance
Once the body has softened and the mind has quieted, you'll settle into Savasana for an immersive sound journey led by Taylor Papp and Jack Davis.
Receiving sound after movement creates a unique opportunity for deeper restoration. With the body already warm and the nervous system primed to downshift, sound can be received more fully, encouraging muscles to release, breath to slow, and the mind to settle with greater ease.
The soundscape features:
Premium Crystal Tones® Alchemy Singing Bowls
Ethereal live vocals
Ocean drum
Meditation chimes
Guided meditation
Layered healing instruments
Rather than simply listening, you'll be invited to experience sound as something you can feel—vibrations that gently support deep rest, reflection, and renewal.
Movement Meets Recovery
At bodyRIOT, we believe wellness isn't about constantly pushing harder.
It's about knowing when to challenge yourself—and when to slow down.
By combining movement, meditation, and sound into one seamless experience, you'll have the opportunity to:
Release physical tension
Support nervous system regulation
Improve mobility and recovery
Cultivate mindfulness
Experience deep relaxation
Leave feeling refreshed and reconnected
This is the full expression of Radical Movement. Real Wellness.
